Terms and Conditions of Business

 

  • Fees are based on an hourly rate (minimum 1 hour), unless agreed otherwise at the outset
  • Payment terms are strictly 7 days from date of invoice
  • VAT is chargeable in addition to all quoted prices
  • Payment can be paid on-line via Paypal or via cheque (Payable to Smarter Business Support)
  • Any bank charges incurred as a result of returned cheques are the responsibility of the client
  • Additional costs will be incurred for telephone calls, travel expenses, mileage @ 0.40p per mile, postage, printing, stationery etc. which will be itemised on your invoice. Prices are subject to change without notification due to external elements
  • All bulk mailing costs must be paid for in advance
  • A client agreement must be signed prior to any paid work taking place
  • The office audit is for a free 1 hour assessment. A 'no obligation' quote will be sent following the audit
  • Any over estimation in time expected to complete a task will be deducted on your invoice accordingly – all work is paid by the exact hours it takes to complete it
  • Any under estimation in time expected to complete a task will be discussed with you prior to work being completed and the invoice being issued
  • A detailed record of time worked for every job will be held by the Smarter Business Support Operational Manager
  • All work will be tret with the strictest of confidence and at no stage will any employee of Smarter Business Support disclose any information to any other party, directly or in-directly
  • Smarter Business Support guarantee the highest quality for work undertaken remotely. If for any reason you are not happy with the final result of such work, all efforts will be made to resolve within 48 hours; Please request a copy of our Complaints Procedure should you require further details
  • All work is covered by Smarter Business Support quality guarantee, however, responsibility for final checks or context lies with the client
  • For Smarter Business Support employees working within client premises, quality checks on work are the responsibility of the client and therefore, not covered by the quality guarantee
